The Hope Closet |

Through a group of dedicated women volunteers of the Eastminster congregation, The Hope Closet provides clothing for women sizes 18 and up free of charge to the clients.
All clients are referred through Christian Services, a Lansing referal agency. Clients are provided appointments on the first and third Wednesday of each month, when the church's Fellowship Hall is transformed into what appears like a women's retail store. The Hope Closet serves women of all ages from the greater Lansing area, providing coats, sweaters, dresses, suits, pants, shoes, under garments, and more. Donations of clean used clothing are always being received. Individuals and congregations in the Lansing area make contributions of used clothing in excellent condition. Clothing may be dropped off during church office hours (see Contact Information on this web site.)
Financial contributions are also accepted, and all money received goes toward purchasing clothing (often at highly discounted prices)needed to fill in gaps of sizes, etc.
