A Message from our Pastor
During this time of Covid-19 we have transitioned to Facebook Live for our worship services. We invite you to watch and participate. It has been a time of both gratitude and grief. I grieve that we cannot worship together in person. Yet, in the midst of that sorrow there is joy. We worship together on the Lord’s Day, like we do every week. We’ve had folks who worshiped with us from Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Arkansas and North Carolina. I am grateful that prayer concerns are shared through Facebook chat and that technology can connect us during this time. We will continue to gather each Sunday at 10AM eastern time through Facebook Live to worship. Staff will conduct services from their homes. I encourage you to join us, to utilize the chat feature, and to continue to give thanks to God in the midst of these difficult days. Please like and follow our Facebook page: Eastminster Presbyterian Church East Lansing for daily prayer videos and more.
Please continue to support Eastminster financially. You can give online here or mail in your contribution. Call the office if you want to set up automatic deposit from your financial institution to Eastminster.
Please know that the church is still here for you. If you need to talk to someone, please call me. If you need groceries or medications, please call me. Whether we are gathered together or quarantined in our homes, we are the body of Christ.
Christ’s Peace be with you,
Kristin

Youth Activities
For the first several weeks of the pandemic, our Director of Christian Education, Neil Myer, posted daily “Spin and Sing” videos with children (of all ages?) especially in mind, on Eastminster’s Facebook page.
Our YouTube channel has several videos of story time with Mrs. Bev Bonning where she is reading stories to our children at home. Visit either our Facebook page above or our YouTube channel.
As of October, our children are meeting via Zoom on Sunday mornings for worship education.
